Just listening to the RLM podcast of the entry announcement which I downloaded last might. There was obviously some suprise at some of the entries.
BMW AG apparently focussing on DTM this year rather.

Glad to see the Corvettes there, but is anyone running a Ford GT or Murcielago? The Ford GT is a beautiful machine...

Why no Ford?
In summary - the GT1 and GT3 versions aren't eligible, the Doran built version from GTE last year isn't running this year (budget issues) and the ex Matech GTE version, to my knowledge, hasn't yet attracted a single customer.

In 2010 the GT1 cars (and Ford Matech) did not exactly cover themselves in glory... the Robertsons can't afford to race without sponsors = no Fords..

The Robertson Pit last year, those cars will be missed. I'm sure there are many that would disagree from the other teams tho!

Shame, as with the Robertsons unexpected 3rd place in their class last time around, you would have thought they would have attracted enough backing for this year...
