I'm going to Tenerife in March and looking at Sky Scanner and a few other sites, it seems prices are similar for the following air lines:

Monarch
Easy Jet
Thomas Cook

There are one or two others, can't remember the names.

Am i right in assuming a budget flight to Tenerife is exactly that, budget, and that i couldn't expect any one of the above airlines to be more comfortable than the others?

It rather depends what aircraft you draw:

I've used economy flights to many a destination and don't specifically recall any being particularly better than another though the last flight with Thomson was roomier than others I've been on.

Booked this morning with Monarch, paid £50 for extra legroom both ways. Actually i managed to book seats on the first row, hopefully it will be ok.

Flown Monarch to Tenerife a few times and it's always been perfectly good - can go wrong really. Did fly to Barcelona on Easy Jet last year and there was more leg room than the Monarch flight, but that could all be down to the route.

Jet2? That is budget mind. The 757's they use are a tight fit.

Flew there with EasyJet last August, flight was pleasant enough, plenty of leg room (and I am 6"4) They come round with refreshments etc, but TBH for the time the journey takes you're best off buying a sarnie from Tesco and taking on board.

I've done that route with ba and easy. Easyjet was absolutely fine.
