Back in 1995 at the ripe old age of 20, i bought a 1988 Audi 100CS (Sport) from a Garage, previous owner Imran Kahn.

Didnt really know to much about them back then, Just looked like a nice car (I was into my barges even at an early age)

Turns out only 220 RHD ones were made, with factory Fuch wheels, red calipers, lowered suspension, all red rear lights and number plate fill, etc.
(Mine was Panther Black).

Never met Imran Khan though.

Was thinking about this. There's a car currently on the market being advertised in a Maserati magazine: Sir Reginald Dwight's little Maser. Even has documentation apparently addressed to "Mr John".

Even if I had the other £34,999.99 to spend on it, would I/you want to own it, and would that ever be worth a premium? I mean - yes - it has future sale potential. But it's still (only) a car.

I bought me Range Rover from Titus Bramble who is more infamous these days, drugs, roasting and god knows what else.

After I bought it, it took me ages to get the white stilleto marks off the head lining

Think he's pulling your leg, in his biography that he would never sell it, and I'm sure he wouldn't need the money now!
