Snow Chains

Hello All,

I need some snow chains for my new car.

265 x 40 x 18.

I want to spend as little as possible as they will most likey spend their life in the bag.

I am struggling to get any less than £90.

Any advice?

Tried ebay? I got mine from there for exactly the same reason, cost about £50/£60 IIRC.

If you live in the UK - Don't bother! You will never actually NEED them!

Not entirely true!

I've had mine for three years, bought because I live in Austria in the winter, and it's a legal requirement.

Having spent dozens of weeks in some of the snowiest parts of Europe, I've actually only used them for about three days in total.

All of those three days were in Cheltenham, UK. It was impossible to get about without them too, I wasn't just using them to show off!

Asda had some cheap snow socks for £35. Don't know what sizes they were though or if they're still selling them.

I do live in the UK, but going Sking in France.

Aldi ot Lidl had them, and the Aldi/Lidl in Normandy ( Carentan ) had them last week. About £30. Do a search of their online catalouges.
