Anyone done this? Are the sliding mounts the same as say an e46 M3?

Anyone gone for spg/p positions/furious in an M car & come up against any problems??

BMW performance sell the recaro sportster cs seats. No idea if they are Z4 compatible.

Can be done, but the mounting gear isn't particularly cheap. Great weight saving over the stock seats though.

Nice stuff, but why wouldn't you use the standard record mount/sliders?

You would/could. I was referring to these parts: http://www.machtschnell.com/product/competition-li...

As you can't simply mount the recaro brackets to the holes in the floor. You'll need to consider some means of mounting your belt pre-tensioner too, or a bypass module (if you're sticking with inertia-reel belts) or other attachments if you want to go the 4/5 point harness route.

Ah right are the seat belt mounting points on the seats on the Z4? Was intending to use the 3 point inertia reals as standard & having the seats mounted on sliders.
