Recaro buckets in a Z4?

Can be done, but the mounting gear isn't particularly cheap. Great weight saving over the stock seats though.

Nice stuff, but why wouldn't you use the standard record mount/sliders?Parts here: http://www.machtschnell.com/models/e85-6-z4m-2006-...

You would/could. I was referring to these parts: http://www.machtschnell.com/product/competition-li...As you can't simply mount the recaro brackets to the holes in the floor. You'll need to consider some means of mounting your belt pre-tensioner too, or a bypass module (if you're sticking with inertia-reel belts) or other attachments if you want to go the 4/5 point harness route.
