Recent bumper respray - advice needed
Discussion
Hi all,
The front bumper on my car was resprayed Thursday last week and is due for collection tomorrow. Unfortunately it is a 30-odd mile drive home, and I'm a bit worried about exposing it to the slush, road salt, etc, that is bound to be about.
As I understand it, it is not advisable to apply wax for a few weeks, so I'm looking for ideas for protecting the paint for this one journey. The only idea I have had is to cover it in cling-film for the trip and remove as soon as I get back. Is this okay or not advisable? Any other ideas...?
Thanks
