I think the Blue Lion in Hardwick is wonderful. Excellent food, plenty of it, old style gastro pub.

I always find the 3 Horseshoes and the Plough expensive for what they offer (just my opinion, although half a brussel sprout as part of my Christmas dinner offering from the Plough was taking the mickey)

The Willow Tree in Bourn is also supposed to be good but not tried it yet - though not really a pub I dont think OP
