Good pub around Cambridge/Bar Hill

Hi guys,

Has anyone got any recommendations on a good pub that for about 10 people to meet at on a Sunday (lunch time)?
Needs to serve ale and food and not be overly busy.

The Plough in Coton does great pub food, but it will be busy on a Sunday, need to book. Also the Three Horseshoes in Madingley is good, although its not classic pub food.

I think the Blue Lion in Hardwick is wonderful. Excellent food, plenty of it, old style gastro pub.

I always find the 3 Horseshoes and the Plough expensive for what they offer (just my opinion, although half a brussel sprout as part of my Christmas dinner offering from the Plough was taking the mickey)

Hmmm Blue Lion looks good - I didnt know anything about it, have to give it a go.

The Willow Tree in Bourn is also supposed to be good but not tried it yet - though not really a pub I dont think OP
