The most useless feat on my 2010 Boxster Spyder is the radio. With PSE installed, there's absolutely no use for this, but every time I start the car, it starts playing and I have to switch it off.

Is there any way to fix this (small) problem?

Greetings from Spain

LOL; interesting fix, but unfortunately not very practical since I need my satnav to find my way around here... Any other options (hammer not included?)

I believe a momentary press of the left hand knob only mutes the radio so when you start the car again it automatically switches the sound back on, if, whilst the engine is running you press the same knob for a few seconds it will switch the PCM off completely, this should stop the radio coming on automatically when you restart the car.

Ummm... why not just turn the volume to zero?

A lot of cars have a default volume setting that they return to when the ignition is turned on.

I would have thought a 2010 boxster would have the same PCM system as my 911, and the zero volume works on mine.
