Gorgeous, pretty rare the 535 in manual guise I think. And it looks about 5 years old, not 11!

The previous owner of that was on forum.bmw5. Very nice car.. I had a manual 535i sport before buying my M5. Good car, and could get over 30mpg on a sensible run.

Was this the guy in Portsmouth? I've bought it from my neighbour who got it from that guy in Portsmouth, i knew it was a nice car as i was the one who drove it back for him! Averaged 39.7 mpg all motorway between 60-70 mph which is quite amazing i think, it can be reasonable around town with the correct use of the manual gearbox. Obviously it's not been bought for economy, although it's now my daily driver. smile

Just to add, i also used to own an E39 M5, fab cars infact all the E39s are superb.

Yes, he was from Portsmouth.

BTW the previous owner took those pics, and they were much better quality.. I would post a link to his project thread, but he didn't blank out the numberplate. I will post it if you don't mind though?

It is a very nice looking E39, I must admit. One thing I'd be looking to do if I were you - M5 mirrors.. but that's just my opinion smile

Generally it's not like that at all. Great site with some excellent advice.
