Morning all,

I'm only 36 but I certainly don't feel as sharp as I used to. I don't doubt for a moment that my diet and exercise regime probably aren't quite up to scratch but, you never know, there might be something else at work. Who knows? Well, these chaps might...

Does anyone here have any experience of these guys or, indeed, anything similar?

Cheerio,

R.

A bloke at work went for one and found out his kidneys were failing and ended up having a kidney transplant!

Not really. He didn't really feel right, but there was no specific syptoms. His wife booked it for him as a check up.

How much are they?

Will your GP not do all this if you ask?

Seems like an expense you can do without tbh.

Don't pay them

If you have symptoms, go to your GP.

Otherwise aim for a BMI of <30 (bathroom scales and tape measure)
stop smoking,
regulate your salt intake
eat 5 portions of veg a day
do some regular exercise
think positive thoughts

The NHS screens for most of the "screenable" diseases, just enjoy life.

Non NHS "Health Screening" is all about profit and worry

That's because you're 36. If you are worried go to the doctors or see if they do a well man type clinic with a nurse practitioner.

This.
Plus:
attend appropriate screening when invited
check your bits regularly
be up-to-date on your jabs
avoid sunburn and keep an eye on any funny moles.
