Currently sitting here feeling sorry for myself. Had a migraine at 3am this morning and after the usual cocktail of meds (imigran,co-codomal) I am pain free but suffering that awful "hangover" from an attack.
I don't often have attacks these days as on propranolol but obviously it's not a cure.

So does anyone have any tips for getting past today?

I think migraines are different for everyone. Not only that, but for me,
the effects of the attacks and the severity of the hangovers have been
quite variable over the 40-odd years I've suffered them.

I just want peace, quiet, darkness and sleep, for the first 4-6 hours
or so of the hangover phase. Then I'll have something simple to eat,
such as bowl of chicken soup. It usually takes about 24 hours before
I'm fully back to myself.

Get well soon.

I found a lot of water helped post migraine. Also as suggested above, simple food which you know you can tolerate easily and enjoy.
