Dash switches

I would like to change the switch style on the radio panel (Mk1) and was wondering if anyone else has done this and can give some advice.

The switches currently have 4 terminals. These must obviously be 2 position but are 4 terminals really necessary? How many terminals are positive ad how many are negative with these switches? I can't seem to find any spec info, what I need to look out for when buying replacements.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
