No, they never released it officially, but I'm sure if you fancied a project, buy a 4x4 Panda and look around for any wrecked 100hps with a still good engine, and transplant?
No. They made a wheezy 1.2 petrol version and a diesel.
Both pretty rare over here, which is perhaps surprising given the cracking review on Top Gear when they were introduced and the success of the "original" Panda 4x4.
They should have done, but the product planners clearly though it would be better to unite the slower engines with the best powertrain, just in case a lot of people tried to buy Pandas as a result of doing otherwise.
Would have been a nice little car, even with the transmission losses. A colleague of mine bought an Ignis 4Grip for the winter, looks fairly decent despite being very slow (4WD sucking power from the Ignis Sport engine in it). I'm sure it would be a useful little car.
