The time has come biggrin after running around in a 1.3 diesel corsa combo for 3 whole years I'm getting back in to the world of nice daily drivers!

I stuck a quick ad in the relevant PH section but not a sniff, I think I need something with more reach?

Local rag?

eBay?

I've kept a quiet eye on the 'bay but to be honest they mostly look like snotters on there, which is fair enough if you just want shot I suppose but although I'm not holding out for a fortune I don't fancy giving it away.

Any ideas chaps?

Local Paper?
Free paper?
Sign in its window?
Gumtree etc. if it's cheap to advertise.
Newsagent's window?

Word of mouth?

Ebay classified ad (was about £13 last time I advertised on there) with the addition of 'make offer'. There is no bidding with this, it's just what it says, a classified ad which last 28 days but the 'make offer' option obviously invites offers too (you can set the limit on it to auto-reject offers under a certain amount). I've had a 100% success rate selling by this method on Ebay and that's got to be around 25-30 cars and small vans over the past 5 years or so. See my post half way down this page for some tips - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
