Minor Vee8 techy question?

I am at the stage rebuilding a 4.6 where I need to fit the ally "plug", (looks like a core plug) at the rear of the block to seal off the end cam journal.

What if anything, should I use to seal it as I tap it home?

Think i used a bit of gasket goo on mine.

My advice would be to get someone who knows what they are doing ! this might be the third disaster !
