I've been polling these three on Facebook based solely on looks. The results are surprising to say the least. Out of 18 people who "voted" so far;

10 chose the NSX
6 chose the Supra
2 chose the Esprit

I am flabbergasted by the numbers towards the Esprit. I just can't believe it!! I would rate it Esprit 1st, Supra 2nd and the NSX a FAR 3rd. I see nothing at all alluring about the design of the new NSX. The older NSX is world sexier imho. Notice how Acura is trying to integrate the familiar Acura 'grille' at the front. The entire design looks like a TL with some horrendous aftermarket body kit. I have seen sketches of the interior and I have to hold my vomit down. But I am pretty sure it is just a concept sketch and will never make it to final production as it is way too 'out there'. And I'm not even sure if it is the actual sketches as a Google search of the new NSX brings up many pages of speculative designs. A few of them look exactly like the Esprit concept sketched up last year or possibly the year before that was floating around.

The Supra is quite nice, but my eyes havent adjusted to its lines yet so I will leave my opinion reserved until further notice.

I am a die hard Lotus fan so it may seem like I am biased towards the Esprit design, but I am not one of these people who cant admit when something is better, and so if the Esprit was not as good looking as the NSX or Supra I would admit it, but I cant because I really am more attracted to the Esprit's design. IMO, among the 3 of them the Esprit looks so sexy, powerful, swift and elegant all in one. Its a much cleaner design among the other 2 wouldn't you agree?

The NSX is much too fussy. I do like the Supra however, and it has some resemblance to the Supra of the late 90's, atleast to my eyes. The way the rear sits and the angle of the window.

One last thing about the NSX, while searching on Google I came across a design that I suppose was runner up for the new model and I cant believe it didnt make it to the final decision. It looked AMAZING! It was the perfect mixture of the old NSX and what a new one should look like. It was the perfect evolution of the car. I'll try and find it.

Here is a picture of the 3 I used to poll on Facebook. What do you guys think is the more attractive design?

P.S. Why is there no option to post a poll when starting a new thread? Where did it go?

I found the picture that I think the 2013 NSX should look like. The one on the bottom. That design is the perfect evolution of the NSX from the late 90's don't you agree?

The white one in the upper right hand corner is a very nice design as well, but doesn't seem like it should carry the NSX name.

The car in the upper left is one I have never seen or heard of before. It came up on a Google 2013 NSX IMAGE SEARCH. The image name titles it has a SSC Tuatara, whatever that is. Whatever it is, it is Bad Ass IMHO!!! Looks like it would be a track version of the NSX.

Really? What is it about it that you find so intriguing over the other two? I'm really not seeing it.

I'd have to go for the esprit. The other two have far too much of a concept extravagance about them.

Not intriguing, I just find its lines more appealing, it is maybe the camera angle, that is why I said "from these three pictures" other angles may make the others look better.

For me it's between the NSX and the Esprit - the Supra looks awful.

I think I prefer the NSX over the Esprit, the design just looks slightly more compact but I might change my mind from other angles. I'm not keen on the fussiness of the front of the NSX or the daft sills on the Esprit - both cars look a bit over-designed in places.

IF you squint a little, you can't tell them apart.

This new generation of high performance cars does nothing for me

See now, for me its the opposite. I think the NSX looks awful and the Supra looks the part.

What do you think of the NSX design in my second post where it looks more like the older NSX?

I have to admit I did NOT like the Esprit when it first came out. It has grown on me and I really like it now! Its a beautiful design. But I still hold disregard for the rear.

I wish someone could photoshop the rear the same color as the car. I think it will look alot better that way. I absolutely HATE the exhausts however. They need to be straight pipes 1 on each side, 3 inches.

Can someone photoshop the rear the same color white?

IMO

Supra is over styled and not to my taste at all.

NSX looks like a veilside bodykitted R8 with a vauxhall grill.

Esprit I like, although there is quite a bit of Gallardo DNA there to my eyes which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Never been keen on japanese styling personally. Can't think of a single Jap car I would describe as 'good looking'. Might start a thread on that asking for suggestions.

good call on the R8 Veilside observation. I agree. Like I said in my original post, it looks like a TL with a horrendous body kit on it. It is so ugly to me.
