Although it is very well repaired and has a number of bespoke customisations done on it by RP.

Saw it at Chatsworth a couple of years ago and looked very nice, but it does have that Cat D on the history.

It does have the slats out, the wheel arches opened and a few other bits and bobs.

The thing I don't like however is the colour. Pea green doesn't do it for me. But I looked at it at Chatsworth and its a good car.

Only pic I have, which is pretty much same as above.

More pics/info here (at the bottom).

Mmmmm, tempting ...would have to have it fully checked out. I have a nice Tuscan 2 to keep me warm though.

Up in the North East, a couple of slices of Ham, and the Pea's pudding, it would go down well...smile

Has anyone been to view this car? Did it have any chasis damage that's been repair?

it's from the same guys that sell this: Tvr Cerbera 4.0i V8 Speed Six

http://www.autozone.be/tvr_cerbera_40i-v8-speed-si...

I have visited then already two times and they know a lot about cars in general but nothing specific about TVR's and what it takes to have a good one....

I saw a blue tuscan once at my dealer that came from them and it had chassis damage but was fixed very superficially. The guy who bought it never got to drive it...

They just need one idiot who is willing to pay for it.

Ok, here is what I know about this car.

Damaged years ago.
Bought by someone who then had it repaired by RP.
Sold to someone
Ended up with the current sellers.
Few people tried to look at it, but those people selling it seem to be completely clueless. Or leave a bad taste in the mouth.

I think the car is still in good condition as all repairs done by RP.

If buying, outsource the process to someone else like Rob (Findasports car...) and let them deal with
the hassle and the inspection for you.

Costs more, but...

It is one of the cheaper ones on the market, but will be more hassle to get and in the end you will probably end up spending a k or so trying to go back and forth getting it.

Other people can correct if they want, but I think the info is correct.

And the above info comes with no guarantee. It is just what I remember.

And then £3-4k re-trimming the entire interior in black!

It needed a new petrol tank last time I looked at it...and a few other bits and pieces to make it properly roadworthy (rear brakes off a motorbike!). About £900 all in just to replace the petrol tank.

Chassis damage has been repaired and re-assessed as up-to-standard here in the UK, but do look at the petrol tank if you're serious about this car. All the docs seemed legit. It is Cat-D and has been given a clean bill of health by VOSA or whatever they're called.

I remember you talking about this car after you had seen it.

The main rear brakes are actually Cerbera ones (better / if not look better than those on a Sag)- the handbrake is a bike one as far as I know which lots of radicals / Atoms etc use to get their cars through MOT's.

I will use a handbrake brake like this when I upgrade the brakes on mine.

iirc, they were very thin discs, didn't look like TVR discs to me, but I could be wrong or they might have changed them. It did have the motorbike handbrake, which didn't hold the car on a small hill.
