'Bout bloody time! smile

The engine is still nominally based on a '50s Chevy IIRC. The irony of NASCAR is it has some of the brightest engineers out there crafting ingenious ways to work within utterly draconian regulations.

F1 cars are similarly hobbled. There are plenty of road cars with far more technology in them these days.

That's like saying an f1 engine is nominally based on a 1904 Peugeot GP* car and lacks the tech of a 1950s SLR.

  • first car to use the holy grail of car tech, over head cams. I think.

It'll probably be similar to an F1 car - between 4-5mpg.

That would be the Small Block Chevy. Works quite nicely in the Corvette. wink
