Been struggling to sell my car, a lot, ebay twice, autotrader, now on here. Its cost me a fortune. I have had a few enquires but not even as much as a viewing. I don't think its too expensive. It is a tidy car.

Because they looked at your PH garage and saw no car, so delved deeper, then looked at your posting history and saw it was a 3 series that had 150k miles, then looked 1 month back and saw that you were complaining of awful knocking noises from the rear, so may be trying to punt it on for a reason....

...or am I just being cynical?

You can tell us what car it is without it being an advert, you know.

However, as I am also in Wales, I can tell you that you might as well be somewhere East of Eden, west of Java beneath the snows of Kilimanjaro when it comes to people coming to see your car. Seriously, it seems to be as bad as Scotland though super-expensive rip-off trains from London and a super-expensive rip-off pair of bridges don't help matters.

From hard experience, I have also found that people living IN Cardiff think anything outside Cardiff is a galaxy away.

That said, times is 'ard and many cars are simply not selling.

Translation: "I know it's too expensive, but I falsely believe I can sell it for that if the right mug punter comes along"

Maybe if you showed us the car, pics, information we could help. And please don't use loads of question marks. One would be fine. smile

I've had that problem at the moment. But then the one I'm trying to sell is a diesel Astra with an engine fault.

My mistake, heres the car censored
I found out what the noise was, it was a knackered axle bearing which cost me £300. I thinl i best edit it to say this. Is it really to expensive?

That interior is putting 90% of buyers off.
The pimp tints are probably not helping either.
Neither is a mileage the wrong side of 120K

HTH smile

I don't think it's an especially high price mind. Certainly near others on sale. But until you remove that interior you are in for a long wait IMO

I would say yes generally BMW's of that age and mileage sell for around £1000 to £2000. For 3 grand there is a lot of choice.

What's 'st' about it exactly? The interior isn't to my taste, but it's in no way st as far as I can see....

Have another couple of laughlaugh's

...for the interior.

Shagged and chavved? Is it chipped, too - that'd make it full house?
