clio 172 mini touring car

giving clio 172 a serious track day makeover,had it for years bought as a cat c write off ,was abug eye but facelifted last year , brief spec 900kg ,omp cage very bad thing really ,abs removed and goodridged, gaz coilovers bespoke spring rates ,pagid blues,srf fluid,7x15 alloys r888s , non aircon cup belt setup (reduces frictional losses),oil cooler ,satin black (stealth mode) ,ported inlet manifold (std set up exceptionally badly matched , take yours off you will see ,i could not believe how bad renault sent them out the factory )see photos ,heater removed ,steering column lowered (not as easy as you would think ) ,sadev copy quickshift and gear stick housing moved back 8 inch to be inline with steering wheel so less input effort required , bespoke exhaust 2 repackable boxs ,would have been easier to buy a proper ex clio cup race car but what the hell it keeps you out of the pub and the brain active , cant wait for a shake down.
