I've seen a few posts on this before, but just wanna check before I cancel my eurowatch subscription on my V8V.

It costs £240 a year. My insurance would be £80 more without it.

Any decent thief would have a GPS blocker.

I'm trying to think why else it might be worth keeping the tracker?

I'm a lucky one because it may cost £240 but it reduces my insurance by £300 - a bit of a win all around!

Yeah, I am lucky with the insurance this year. You couldn't call it cheap, but it's a great deal given my age. It could be a one off so would want to re-connect potentially in the future which I'm assuming you can do...

seems a bit excessive ....I paid £300 for lifetime cover with tracker when I got the car in 2007...that was it

some insurers wouldnt insure without one back then...so it limited my choice, hence decided to pay for it

My insurer let me drop it on the V8 due to reduced value, however the V12 requires it, so I've got to pay another £250.
I find this rather irksome, as the OP said, any half decent thief will have know how to override it..
I guess Eurowatch is owned by the insurance companies anyway(??), so its just another way of hiking premiums.. or am I being too cynical? smile

Welcome to the club, there are a few of us younger ones here. Admiral are by far and away the cheapest for the under-25 category in nice cars.

You need a GPS jammer and also a GSM Jammer. Yours from the dark recesses of the internet for about £200 all in...

I only keep mine because I cannot get insured without it. Otherwise pointless...
