Finding last insurer

No doubt that this is in the wrong section, so apologise, but I was basically wondering if there is any access to an insurance database that tells who my last insurer was.
To cut a long story short, I have circa 8 years NCD on a bike policy, and let teh insurance lapse when I decided that I wasn't going to ride again. This was less than 2 years ago, but years of chasing the best premium has meant that I cannot remember who the policy was with, and hence would probably not be able to prove NCB.
I phoned the company that I thought it was with, but theyu do not hold records

Do you have online banking? Maybe there will be a payment or direct debit to an insurer?

Your bank WILL have records going back. How thee to the local branch and ask

NCB runs out after 2 years so you had best find it sharpish.I had similar when my licence was taken of me for 18 months when i suddenly realised i could still use my no claims bonus, i just rang round until i got the right company, tried about 5 i could remember using before.
