Tyres for 997.1 GT3

Evening,

I have a nail through rear offside tyre - sidewall damaged so have to replace the tyre.

Rears are 305/30 19 102Y - Pirelli P Zero Corsa.

Front tyres have the N0 suffix (Porsche fitment?), but not the current rears.

Seem to be having a problem getting one tyre to match without the N0 suffix.

Also, can't seem to get a new pair for the rear with N0, N1 or N2 - none available from 3 sources - seem to be on back order.

Current suggestion is to fit Michelin Sport PS2 N2 rated tyres, same size.

Don't like the sound of it, but does anyone know if this would cause me any handling problems with these on the rear & Pirelli's on the fronts?

I would recommend not mixing brands front/rear. The Pirelli Corsa tyres are a "system" and front and rear are designed to work together.

Pirelli Corsas are not available to buy anywhere in Porsche N fitment as far as I can see. Perhaps the previous owner had the same issue and hence the non N rated tyres on the rear of yours.

If it's primarily road use I'd say go for the Michelin super sport but not sure if N rated are available yet, else Michelin Pilot Sport or even Sport Cups, depends on what your intended use is.

I can help you with three of the tyres if that's of any help. I haven't got round to advertising them yet. Came off my GT3 997.2

I have P Zero Corsas in 1 rear nearside @ 6mm, and two matching fronts @ 3mm - all in N0. You would only have to find the offside. No damage and not repaired

I only need the rear, the fronts were replaced 2000 miles ago, but will take all three if we can agree a price.
