Smart car lease coming to an end...

My mrs has had her Smart car for coming up 3 years, and it goes back on the 8th March.

After 3 years of ownership, and not even a scratch, last thursday someone pulled out in front of her and caused her to hit his front bumper...

After hearing horror stories, im now worried Mercedes will try shafting her about the damage not being repaired properly if they dont repair every last clip etc...

Her insurance company picked the car up from the scene of the accident and have sent it away to be prepared... Im now wishing she didn't give them permission to repair it and that we had sent it to mercedes themselves!

If Mercedes do come back and claim it isn't repaired to their standards, where will I stand regarding the company that fixed it?

She also didnt bother having the 2nd yearly service done, and the car is now 270 miles overdue a service....

Anyone got an ides on how much their likely to sting her for that too?

Well you could get stung or you could pay for the service and the repair to avoid being stung. Either way, the accident and the service are costs and the leasing company are in business to make a profit so you will always have to pay for stuff like that.
