Just been having a laugh in the office with the question "what do you realistically picture yourself driving in 10 years time ?"

I can see myself with a young family, so I'd like to think an old (by then) B6 S4 4.2 in Nogaro Blue

Id career path doesn't progress as much as I'd like, then I'm gessing it will be a series Land Rover as a secdno car and a 2008 > Saab 93 TTID 180 Aero as my daily.

If career path progress, then I'd hope that I have a BMW 330D M-Sport Touring as the daily and I'd probably still have a Land Rover series as a second car

Well I've just bought a house and have sold my sports car so my car fund is now zero! So in 10 years time, maybe the brand new (now) Cayman or Boxster. Or maybe a Lotus Evora S.

Not sure, something that will have backseats no doubt. In that case, probably a 4WD car like a Subaru or if RWD, an M3.

I suspect in 10 years, anything petrol over 2 litres or with more than 4 cylinders will be taxed to such an extent it will be prohibitively expensive to run.

Ideally however, I'd be looking at an M5.
