I too had a Z4 before the T350 (I think I recognise the name from Z4-Forum?).
It was a 2004 3.0 SMG, and while it was a perfectly good car (and sometimes I miss the ability to go anywhere without drama) the TVR T350 takes the driving experience to another level.
I have the Coupe, so don't know too much about the Targa panels - but in all honesty I've not really missed having the roof down (although on one or two occasions it would've been nice).

I had a T350T and used the roof off option as much as possible.
We toured Europe and never had any bother slotting the panels in the boot, provided they were in their sleeves, and resting on top of our luggage.
Panels off and the windows down is as close to no roof as you can get.
the 'T' version is also quite rare, so if you like something a little different it may suit you.

I have the roof off more than I have it on and for me it adds much value to the driving experience. Sun, wind and exhaust noise! It does not bother me to take the panels out, it is 30 seconds work only slowed down by putting them in the panel sleeves and taking care not to scratch them. I went to the south of France last year with my T350T and did not have any trouble fitting the sleeved roof panels on top of two persons' luggage.
It does feel like a 80% of a roof-off effect.

Looks good, get them to throw in a TVR Power warranty, which means Dom is happy with the engine, and you should have a good motor.Any thoughts chaps? I am a complete TVR virgin, loved the Z, but want something well roar

Dont know how that is price wise as I don't follow the T350 prices that much but a little voice in my head keeps suggesting selling the Sag and getting a nice T350T and pocketing the difference.
Just had a look on the main TVR Power website and the same car is on there with "engine warranty available on request" so get yourself a test drive.
