Hi,
Recently had cause to replace it on the 4.5.
Chose to replace it with the Steve Heath "intelligent sensor".
Installation instructions suggested the sensor be 1mm from the trigger wheel.
Did so and works perfectly.

I set mine to the thickness of a lid off a cornflakes box so I guess the 1mm gap suggested should be about right.

I have used a slightly longer sensor instead, its much more sensitive so you can gap it at about 1mm, so much less chance of it crashing.

I still have some available, listed in the PH classifieds.
