Baby seats in bucket seats...

Daft question - I have front bucket seats (factory Recaros) and want my 3 year old to share drives with me, so has anyone experience of this? I am in the UK right now so could pick up the correct seat whilst here, but unfortunately can't check it in the car itself (it's abroad), and suspect the OPC sales staff will not be particularly helpful or knowledgeable.

Specifically I already have a Porsche Prince seat (for up to 4 year olds) and don't know if it will fit OK in the high-back Recaros. I also suspect I need some kind of airbag-off device (for which I will no doubt get fleeced).

Ideally I would prefer a simple booster seat and have the kiddie sitting direct in the seat with the adult seatbelt and the airbag switched off. Any ideas?
