Looks like my steering pump reservoir. Where do the pipes go?

Full marks!!!!
I just pulled an eyeball out of is socket so I could see where the pipe goes an I THINK is the power steering pump. It contains very thin oil?

Mine is tucked away at the moment so unable to check it. If memory serves it is thin.

Mmm..Maybe not pressurised then!!..But it dont ressemble a pump much either..A pump would surely have a pulley with a belt on it to actuate the pump?..Must just be a reservoir...Is it red oil/fluid as power steering fluid is normally red..Although i have clear in mine..(Leak seal)..Ziga

I would agree it does look like top up tank for power steering unit the fact that you have a large supercharger fitted means they had to put tank elsewhere.

My PS tank looks just like that ..

That belt run looks very long and unsupported by pulleys .. looks a bit prone to belt jump with lots of rev changes.

Yes Adam its the Power Steering Resivour.

The big black lump above it that makes a noise like a screaming banshee takes up the space were it would be normally located.

Yes! Either if it's supercharger oil or power steering oil I use the same thing - ATF.
