Fuses in the glove box checked ,all ok.
All the lights work, even if the pods wont come up .
The flash don't work.
If i start to turn the manual knob on the passenger side, the pod will raise then close on its own.
The drivers side wont, but just raises manually.
Any ideas?

Steve ,

Had similar problem with MrsH's 400 . I gave up in the end and took the car to a local auto-electrician , he finally diagnosed a faulty motor coupled with bad earths . One motor later and a bit of fettling sorted .

If it turns out you are in need of a motor try :

The relays should be easy to get hold of, any motor factor should have an equivalent; just take one with you (her) - Streaky

my relays were sourced out of an old ford cortina at a breakers yard a few years ago .. I have a few spare.
I understand ford still carry this part if you want to get some new ones..

Glad you sorted this Steve, you'd left Wighill by the time I'd consulted the wedge bible.
