Noise restrictions

Hi I have booked a track day at Oulton Park with TVRCC and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the sports exghaust on my chim tested for noise level I understand for Oulton it has to be no more than 105db and do not know how many db's my chim is putting out.

wouldn't worry about it.

standard chimp = 96-99db ish.

pre cats out and piped (baffles done) = 98-101db

mine (sorted) = 128db (and i got on with standard track inserts)

have a GREAT day, Oulton is FAB! only done it once but it was superb! hope the weather holds.

Most tracks will test you car for free. Phone them before to be sure they have an event on and get it checked out. The other option is a noise test kit, not 100% accurate but it will give you an idea.
