Central locking fix/bodge

Came back this weekend to find the noble wouldnt unlock.
Lights flashed but no noise. Noise when you press it again though to lock.
Decided ot couldnt be a door fault as neither worked.
So, dove into the passenger footwell and removed this

Opened it up and it looked like this

On the lower right of the circuit board it was all corroded (id cleaned it off a little by this pic). Doing a continuity check it seemed that there was a break in the thin strip near the copper coloured corner.

So, bodge head on. I soldered a small wire on the bipass the break.

Results is, it works again. Its just a temporary measure as ill get a replacement. Cheapest i can find is here so far

Give the guy's here a call. They did the orig installs and still have some original parts at very cheap prices. I have phoned them on a few occasions and they have been really helpful.
