The former Gulshan restaurant on Ladybank Road has changed hands and been completely gutted and refitted.
It is now called the Cinnamon Tree. Went last night and the food and the service were really good!

It has been a long few months waiting for it - is it connected with the Sunnar Gow at Hatton?

Yes, it's the same guy, although I haven't been to that one.

Been tonight - excellent and a different level to the Gulshan. 8/10 but would have been a 10 if they had got deserts.

Thy had run out of deserts? Teething troubles I guess.

I had a pistachio kulfi although it would have been better if it hadn't come in a rather naff "Bollywood" dish.

They even asked if I wanted to keep the dish - I declined.

Probably but at least we got a complimentary drink instead!

I was aiming for a set of 4 naff dishes. ;-)

Great idea - car park is big enough or we could just all walk and enjoy the Cobra.

Pretty good - do some nice Lobster dishes and generally mid range prices.
