Does anyone know why Stobarts (Haulage) run both Scania and Volvo tractor units? Wouldn't they get a better discount by buying from one manufacturer

(Yes i am watching Eddie Stobarts, trucks and trailers on demand 5!)

Eggs/basket. If you've a one-make fleet, and for whatever reason there's a serious, common fault...you're going to end up with a large chunk of your money-earners off the road. Or if there's a parts shortage, same problem.
