All Temp Values in the Dash have a rangefault of -20 C
Discussion
Hello Mates,
I'am searching for my Tamora 3.6 2002 a Electric-Diagramm.
May you have a diagram of the electrical system, and of the electronics?
Values of the sensor resistance tables etc. That would be great!!!
I have had for some time, or just always a small problem with the shown temperature Values in the dash.
The outside temperature measurement is shown (-18 - 25) C to less.
The water temperature measurement is shown (-15 - 20) C to less.
The oil temperature measurement is shown (-15 - 20) C to less.
Example: Real Temp 90! shown in the Dash 70!
Today i saw at starting OilTemp shows 0 degrees and after a while it shows -8?
The water, oil, air measurements, for the engine control unit measures .. no idea, because I do not have it in Dash! -> Is it possible to diagnose this with the TVR Diagsoftware?
I once made an attempt to find the error ...
Mass of the motor connected to the frame;
All connections Dash ECU, Dash, and the plug from the engine compartment in the cabin are cleaned disconnected and connected and the fuse in passenger bay cleaned ---- >>>> no success!
One more thing I noticed: the voltage indicator in the dash, shows at starting constant 11.8 V ,after a while (one minute later)it went to 13.8V.
DO YOU have SOLUTION APPROACHES
Thank you Tom

I would love to get hold of a set of wiring diagrams, but I'm afraid I don't know that such a thing exists in public circulation. Whilst I can't help you directly, I would strongly reccomend you give Paul Smith a call. He really is the undeniable expert on these things, and he's generally very happy to help you as much as he can over the phone (as in reality most faults can't be fixed entirely without the specalist kit he has). He also likes a challenge!

I had a wrong default temp readout on my oil temp from one day to another. Just started the car one day when the outside air temp was 16 degrees and then the oil temp took that temperature as its new would-be 0 degrees default setting.
Still no idea how or why this happened, but after that my oil temp always showed 16 degrees lower than it actually was.
Took the car to NIMAG in the Netherlands and they could not say why it happened either but a sensor replacement fixed it.
