Discussion
I am being very careful not to start a 'war' as seemed to happen last time Tiny & I were discussing the relative merits of the Taraka conversion as opposed to the Mark Adams / ACT / 404 route.
A potted history so far..... I have a Taraka cam and engine rebuild from TVR Power, but not the plenum work. Then I fitted an ACT triple throttle body plenum and Bosch Air Flow Meter, ACT silicone air filter to AFM hose and Mark Adams installed his Tornado chip and set it all up on Mech Repairs Rolling road. However, the injectors were not capable of delivering enough fuel at the top end.
So I have now ordered a set of Maserati Webber injectors and ACT's new stainless steel manifolds and racing cats, after fitting which, the car will be set up by Mark once again.
Significant gains are expected, but I'm saying no more!

no problem, I'm working on a similar project so was just looking for the latest info.
thanks Mark

Down side = all those power-runs have exercised the cam and now I need to get my (P404) tappets adjusted!
It gets expensive, doesn't it?!
1500 - 2000 miles. They were reset again after 500 miles, and I was told they would last until the next service after that. Had a quick check round last night, but without rotating the crank could only check a few, and those were all less than 7 thou, which if that's what they were set at, I'mnot surprised they've closed up a little.
