Jaguar XJR

I have just won my first Jaguar on eBay! Its a 1995 XJR in Westminster Sapphire blue.

I will call the dealer tomorrow to arrange collection and will get some photos when i pick it up. Here are some photos from the eBay advert in the meantime:

Strange my dad had one that did over 200,000 miles with little more than the exhaust falling off.

possibly that was just a bad example, I've always heard these old barges are pretty reliable. V8 ones (post 1998)were meant to be a bit more troublesome though

23 /XJR -INSURANCE ???
In fact any Jag for a 23yr old - surely computer says no? -or does postcode say yes?

Insurance shouldn't be too bad for the OP, due to the fact that the Jag is not a common choice within young drivers.

Thanks and insurance is not looking too bad with 4 years NCB and a low risk postcode. I am getting quotes for £800 fully comp.

odd that its got no cruise though, i thought XJR's came with everything as standard?

The XJR-6s do have a reputation for being pretty bombproof.

The XJR-6s do have a reputation for being pretty bombproof.
