Interested! Although depends on what night and also to what extent the. Are are tuned, I feel facing them standard may be more of a challenge

I will run it on a night when most people are free, I dont mind tuned or standard depends on what people would rather do. I just would rather run race paints

What are peoples thoughts?
Standard/Tuned?
I was thinking of just doing a 40min race with 1 stop not within the first or last 10mins unless damage.
Damage on?
Driver aids?

I am open to running this championship but would like to get more people in so not fussed on rules. But what ever rules we do should make for some close racing

To be a true DTM championship, you'll need to prevent any overtaking on the track, disqualify any driver who even nudges another and render any car that loses any aerodynamic tweak, no matter how insignificant, totally undriveable!

yes I would say damage on simulation, however in a recent Nations Cup round we tried it with damage on cosmetic only, which given the amount of lag was pretty much necessary, and it was great as it gave people to confidence to race closer, and perhaps try overtakes when previously the risk of damaging your aero would not have made it worth it. HTH smile

I would prefer to use simulation damage with standard cars. But would prefer people not to run standard paints and make or buy a replica one.

Been doing some thinking about rules and want peoples thoughts on it.

4lap quali, simulation damage, collisions off

Reverse grid

30mins race, 1 pit stop, put stop can be on time, simulation damage, collisions all ways on.

Any driving aids, no restrictions on car view, standard cars with a race paint job.

We could run this on a Wednesday after the endurance has finished or a Thursday night.

Sounds good to me chap, however if on a Wednesday not sure whether I'll be able to commit as I keep getting yanked in to work, I think this week is going to be the first endurance round I might make!

I will be interested. My thoughts are standard cars, RS4, M3, TT, C63 etc... this sounds fun. Regarding which night, how about wait until my Japanese coupe championship finishes, only 5 races to go and besides, Monday seems to work pretty well. What PI are the cars going to be James? 695?

oh and i think you should have to have a DTM paint from past or present.
