WiFi Audio Level Receiver, is there such a thing?

Evening everyone,

Is there such a thing as a wireless (PC WiFi) receiver that will give me some audio level outputs?

What I am interested in doing is being able to transmit Audio remotely from a laptop using WiFi. The devices I have seen so far seem to work the other way, pulling the audio from a PC over WiFi and then playing at the device.
