Do they work?

Anyone able to lend me some to see what difference it makes before I buy?

I need to drop from around 99db to under 98db.

Thanks.

I've got some Adam, they do work and your welcome to borrow them, it's just getting them to you?

Sounds almost perfect, except for the fact my first track day is before Griff Growl.

However, I do have another one afterwards.
Let me go and check the noise level on it.

deen, now that sounds like the ideal plan.

Couple of questions.

1. How much?
2. How do they fit? Are they going to mean modifying my current stainless exhaust?

Thanks

I've got the ACT ones as well. They simply slip over the tail pipes. Look a little odd but work. Think they were £45 +VAT.

hi dusty

they push fit on exhaust, then secured with single u-bolt clamp on each side (included). He will check size on the phone if you are non-standard (?!). He wanted £10 for hire if i didnt want them and returned within a week, price to buy as mentioned IIRC.

Seemed fair to me!

Dusty - did you get sorted. I have the some of the ACT silencers which I have used on my Cerb. Noise came down from 107 to 100db. You are welocme to borrow them if you wish and if they fit. They are the type of thing only used a couple of days a year.

No not sorted yet.
Would be good to have a go with yours since you are local.
Will you be at Thorney Island this weekend?
The TVRCC hants crowd are going there on Sunday.
I may be making a fool of myself drag racing in the Griff!
