Limit of Named Drivers on Insurance Policy

Hello!

I'm currently fishing around for cars, and I have a few ideas in mind. At the same time i've been comparing insurance to see what price I am likely to be paying.

I found a Seat Leon 2.0 TDI FR worth about £8K, 2006 w/ 50k miles on it.

Now i'm 21 in a few days so I just changed the details slightly, but here's what I got:

Just me on the policy: £2.1K
Me as policy holder + mum (5 years+ NCs): 1.3k
Me as policy holder + mum (5 years+ NCs) + dad (5 years+ NCs): £900
Me as policy holder + mum (5 years+ NCs) + dad (5 years+ NCs) + grandpa (5 years+ NCs): £900

If I add anyone else the price rockets up. My question is: Is it legal to add 3 extra people onto the insurance like this, even though i'll be driving it 98% of the time?

Yes, it is, perfectly legal.

Just make sure your grandad doesn't drive it more than you, that would be illegal
