Strange windscreen markings

I'm hoping one of the regular glass professionals can chime in here (or anyone else with similar experience), but are these marks at the base of my screen anything to be concerned about? Its an old delecate car so I'd rather not rip the screen out unless absolutely necessary, but if they are caused by water ingress I'd be a bit concerned....
Looks like the screen is starting to de-laminate slightly. It's not un-common on older cars, alot of older Porsches have this problem. It tends to occur near the lower screen edges but I don't think its a major problem as long as it stays clear of the MOT regulated area. No need to panic I would say!

definitely doesn't wipe off 
If its just a bit of delamination I'm happy enough with it - its out of the way and in real life not that noticeable, and I'd rather not take the screen out, was just concerned it was a sign that water was under the screen and getting into other things and rotting etc....

Saw this on 2x348's and 1x355 I looked at... it's not uncommon.... sadly.
similarly, it is more common on the rear window glass (on the 348/355's anyway).
One of the 348's I saw only drew my attention to it because the owner had stuck black tape over it to hide it! (I kid you not!!!)

Ha ha!, shirley if it was done neatly with thin vinyl it would look better? Not just any old bit of tape. I dunno, I just think it would look better than the marks if done right.
In all seriousness I agree actually, but do it needly run along the entire edge... the one I saw (took photo's of it too) was literally squares of black tape stuck over it.

Wonder if you could get this replaced on your windscreen insurance? Whats the point in replying to a thread if you can't see the picture of the fault that needs diagnosing?perhaps Madmatt is referring to the (yellow in the picture) vertical marks leading from the area of delamination.
