A shame it's not for a decent brand of food!

My dog and I saw this earlier today on TV. He looked at the screen when the dogs barked, and also at the whistle that i heard, but he took no more interest that he would at any other show with a dog in it.
good fun advert though the way it does the italian job

Was it shown during Emmerdale? I looked but didn't see it.

Ahh, I missed this! Was hoping to see how the Springer and pup might react. Is it being regularly shown does anyone know?

There was a dog food advert with the dog running away into the distance (Pedigree Chum?) probably 18 months ago, the Springer left the room and went behind the wall of the tv looking for it!! He did the same when there's been horse racing where they leave the screen on the right hand side, he disappeared out the room again looking for them. One confused looking doggy returned! laugh

I actually recorded Emmerdale Farm just for the advert, verdict from my dogs was no reaction at all.
Quite like the advert though.

Brilliant, thanks for that. Our pup is also a Labradoodle... must watch it now to see if she and/or the Springer react!

Sorry, are we talking about this one?

If so, I saw it ages ago ... confused ... and the dog couldn't care less when it's on. ... biggrin

Cheers,

Eric smile

Yes that's the one.

Migsy have you put any photos up of your labradoodle yet?

Very sweet looking indeed.

Double yikes with the size! Ours is a 3rd gen and I met her parents, so hoping she'll be somewhere inbetween - which will make her larger than our long-legged rather large Springer, but hopefully not a giant! Mind you, she's 11 weeks old now and she has quite long legs. Went by paw size with the Springer - his were huge at 5 months when we rescued him, but hers are quite small.

I live in hope!

On the bright side, she'll probably keep the Springer in check when fully grown! She is growing fast - really noticeable even in the 10 days we've had her.

Back on topic..I played the youtube link someone kindly posted up of the advert and the Springer took notice, the pup didn't. Still haven't seen it on tv, that'll be the real test.
