Best diesel 4 door, under £2500

Looking to change from my 2ltr turbo petrol Rover 620 to something cheaper to run and a bit more sensible.

I've been looking at MG ZT's as im quite involved with the Rover scene. Can anyone suggest anything else?

Not really into Passat's and dont want a Mondeo or Vectra. I like something a bit different and am struggling with ideas.

You've just answered your own question there. You don't want a Passat or a Vectra, you want to be different and you're into the Rover scene. Get a MG ZT like you suggested.

Amazing idea! Can't believe I didnt think of it. No keen on a Bora or a Skoda octavia having driven a few and didnt like them at all.
