Guys, some advice please, I want to weld a chin and dip bar to a steel in the workshop, any ideas on the ideal angle of bend in the chin bar? and the width between dip bars?
Thanks

A steel...

For the pull up bar, I prefer completely straight. Make it at least 2 feet long so you can do chin ups, pull ups and wide-grip pull ups. I would also add some kind of cover if the diameter is under 2cm as that narrowness can dig into your fingers when you're doing loads of them I find. I would also consider the height - about 8 inches above your head; I hate using pull up bars that mean you have to bend your knees, illogical as this sounds.

For the dip handles, depends how fat you are. If you're not fat, then maybe 2 feet apart.

PS I'm jealous you can make your own equipment!!
