Hi,

My Meg (10ish year old greyhound) has developed seriously bad breath over the last month or so.

Her breath was previously always ... "acceptable" ... so to speak.

No change in diet or general lifestyle ... although she is slowing down a wee bit.

Could this be a symptom of something I should be worried about? ... or should I just stop encouraging "kissies"? wink

Her teeth look to be in pretty good condition so I don't think it's tooth decay.

It's difficult to describe the odour but it's quite sweet in a peculiar way.

Cheers,

Eric smile

Does it smell sort of like pear drops? If so it sounds like she is ketogenic so i would take her to vets to get a proper check.
