To anybody who knows Guadix and Clive and his family will be shocked to hear that Mike passed away in a house fire in Granada on 13th Feb.
Mike was a lovely man and I'd have been proud to have been his dad.
Many people will miss you Mike, your liveliness, your skill behind the wheel and just the pleasure of being in your company was always a joy.
Very sad news.
I believe Guadix will now be called Circuito de Michael Greenhalgh.
Mike - We'll miss you and tears are rolling down my cheeks as I think of you.

I'd known Mike since he was 10 - He was great and I always looked forward to seeing him on the TVR trackday we have at Guadix every year. He was ( I think) the first British Driver to put a car on the front row of a Britcar Race at Brands - having never raced there before! Such was his talent
He was funny, fun loving, irreverant, sometimes irresponsible, loyal, easy to forgive.... and when you put him in a race car his demenour changed entirely to total focus
I remember him taking the circuit's Radical out to prepare for some experience laps. It had just come on to rain and he was on cold slicks - As he went through the Esses I've never seen car control that good
He was a great bloke and it's a tragic, tragic, loss

A very sad time for Clive and his family.
I've posted some tribute pix to him if you click the pic.
