Cars are made to be used, I see nothing wrong with that.

So if he had a diesel people carrier, or 4x4 it would be alright, but because he has it on a quite delicious bit of art, it is bad?

Yep fail to see the problem

Would you prefer it locked in a private garage where a mechanic starts it up once a year to make sure it still works but it never turns a wheel while some OCD type person polishes it once a week

I think the problem is that tis not a real one. A real one being used all the time would be great

Can just imagine walking in to Halfords and asking for a roof rack for an F40?

You just know the spotty oink will ask if its a Ford.

That's brilliant.

Not so brilliant things seen oh so often -

- Peformance cars with crap tyres.
- Cars that are disgustingly kept.
- The old man who lives in my town with a drop dead gorgeous XKR, which he washes with the brush in the jetwash that the builders use to sweep out their dropside truck on Friday afternoons. Black one aswell, to top it off.

It would make me cry more if it was a Ferrari that had never been driven in anger at any point in its life.

I despise people that buy these cars just to put them in a garage forever -_-

Would rather see a car being used,

This on the other hand breaks my heart

As posted on another thread, just sitting on a driveway rotting away

Quite like the roof-racked F40. eek

I would say...

People who use about 3000 rpm when manoeuvering in car parks.

People whose idea of parking at the side of the road is to pull in and scrape the wheels all the way along the kerb.

It was him I took the picture for!
the guy who owns it is always pleading poverty yet wont say a price to take it off his hands. He also has a yellow Ferrari 308 about 10 years beyond help on his land

Yes that punto would have made a great first car for someone.

OR

Yes what a waste of a Ferrari engine in an ugly box like that.
