I have a set on the back of the Griff at the moment and managed to buy a new pair very cheap, I know they are old stock but are still fine just wondering what people’s opinion of the S01? I was thinking of getting another pair to keep as spares as I got both tyres for less than 1 S03.

Snap! just had a pair fitted on the Chim, can't say I've noticed a great deal of difference from the old SO2's. Perhaps the extra tread makes them feel a little more sure-footed.

I recently had them fitted to the front of my Griff.
Now maybe having the alignment done just before helped, but I have found them to be very satisfactory.
The car feels well planted on the tarmac and I have now been carreering rounds corners very comfortably.

Are we talking about SO1's or SO3's here?

I believe the SO1 is a softer compound than the SO2.
Both now not available new, except for and odd SO2 old stock.
The SO3 is a little harder compound than the SO2.
