Hi all,
I've just started getting the car out of winter hibernation and the analogue speedo is not reading. I've had the pod apart and can't see anything wrong. The needle can be moved by turning the drive cog on the back, I've lubricated it all, but still no movement. The digital speedo works OK, so the speed sensor must be fine. Anyone had similar? Anyone know the fix? I was stressing about it failing its MOT on it, but according to the interweb, it's not a fail anyway. Cheers
Phill.

had same problem intermittent. so i did replace the speed sensor just in case and it's made it better - better as in the analogue works all the time, but "degrades" accuracy over driving time by a few mph. I'm told i need a new pod ... or i guess someone who knows their way around the bits.
so for me, it's sort of ok, as i don't pay much attention to the speed anyway, not to the extent that a few mph makes any difference - if i go through speed traps etc, i use digital.
